  • The UK government's Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025/2026 found 43 percent of all UK businesses identified a breach or attack in the previous twelve months, with phishing the most common threat at 38 percent.

The reasons manufacturing is singled out are specific. Legacy OT and machine controllers often cannot be patched, so known weaknesses stay open for years. What should IT support for a manufacturer include?
